Basel Cherry
Basler Kirsche

We have selected two kinds of cherries for our brandy: “Basler Langstieler” and “Dolleseppler”, both cultivated in the Basel region in Switzerland. They have the shape of a heart, and – once ripened to perfection – are brownish-red, juicy, sweet and burst with sweet cherry flavors. Hand-picked, sorted and washed during harvest, we place the pit-free cherries into large vats for fermentation.

After naturally fermenting we carefully distil the additive-free cherry mash twice in our copper pot stills. The precious so-called middle cut then matures in open glass balloons for a minimum of five years. Our Basel cherry brandy is a 100% pure and unfiltered distillate, highly desired for its compact, aromatic and unique flavors.
