Muscat Grape, vintage 1999
Die Muskattraube, Jahrgang 1999
This grape is one of the oldest cultivated grapes treasured for its intense and floral scents and unique Muscat flavors. In 1999, our grapes were grown and harvested under perfect climate conditions in southern Italy. We harvested, sorted and cleaned the grapes by hand and mashed the full grapes - without vine or stem - for fermentation.
Over time this brandy aged to one of the finest distillates of the last decade. We describe it as follows: Exquisite Muscat nose, scents of rosebush blossoms and honey, very clean. Very well aged on the palate, full bodied and bursting flavors, contained sweetness, wonderful grape aromas, very long finish.
