Our quince is called \u201cRonda\u201d\nand comes from Upper Austria. It is pear-shaped and has a felt-like yellow\/gold\nskin when fully ripe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We often leave our fruit on the\ntree right through until the end of October. The combination of sunny days and\ncooler nights typical at this time of year allows the quince to reach ideal\nripeness. When they are finally harvested, the fruits have a strong, fruity and\nexotic aroma. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
